10K SHOT CLUB IS BACK FOR ALL CURRENT TRAVELING & MITE/8U PLAYERS.
WHAT: We want all Rosemount Hockey Players to strengthen their shot and make them better hockey players/athletes. INCLUDING GOALIES! It’s just as important for goalies to shoot pucks as it is skaters so they can better catch and deliver the puck appropriately.
WHEN: Players can begin tracking shots any time starting June 5, and the challenge will end on September 24, 2023.
WHERE: Your garage, your basement, your backyard, at the high school or a buddies house.
WHY: Rosemount hockey players need to continue to develop their shooting habits on and off the ice. The purpose of shooting pucks away from the rink is to prepare kids for shooting in practice or games as well as how to handle the puck on their stick with their head up. More importantly, it teaches kids to be responsible with a task and hold themselves accountable during summer months.
HOW: Submit your $15 payment per participant on Venmo at @buildfromwithin. Start shooting and reporting back your puck count. Each player will receive a t-shirt and their name on a plaque that will hang in the RCC!
10,000 shots over 14 weeks = 100 pucks per day
