IP Evaluations — 8U and Mites
ALL DATES/TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Mite/8U players will be evaluated using the Hockey Education Program (HEP), which is a series of timed skating drills.
We record and add the best time for each drill to give a cumulative score which will be used to determine team placement. The goal is to place skaters with others at their same level to maximize skill development.
For the 2026–27 season, evaluations have not yet been scheduled. The table below shows the session structure used previously and will be updated when dates are confirmed. See also the Tryouts 2026–2027 hub.
