Traveling Levels

Jared Hanowski

Boys & Girls Traveling Coordinator

The Travel Team season generally begins in Mid-September with pre-season clinics to prepare for upcoming tryout sessions.  Tryouts for traveling teams, generally, begin end of September with practices starting beginning of October. League games for Squirt and U10 teams, generally begin late November and conclude early to mid March. League games for Peewee/Bantam and U12 teams, generally begin in November and are completed around mid-February. All traveling teams, generally, participate in District 8 playoffs at the end of their season with some levels (AA, A and B1) eligible for regional and state tournament

RAHA has 3 arena locations generally used for practices; RCC, IGH and Woodbury ICE. Practice duration ranges from 50-75 minutes for traveling teams.  Every attempt will be made by the Association to give each team an equitable amount of practice.  Most sessions are, generally, shared with other RAHA teams.  Each team will also get full sheet sessions to use for practices, scrimmages or whatever the team coaches and manager(s) deem appropriate.
